One of the most celebrated and biggest success stories of Tollywood in 2017 happened to be Arjun Reddy, the Sandeep vanga debut directorial, that starred young sensation Vijay Devaerakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles, and the movie went on to become a cult classic.
Following the success of Arjun Reddy, the movie has been remade in Tamil as Varma starring Dhruv Vikram and Megha Chowdhury and directed by national award-winning maker Bala, while in Hindi, the movie was remade as Kabir Singh by Sandeep vanga himself.
The movie faced several criticisms and even the leading daily 'The Hindu' which praised the Telugu version bashed the Hindi version. Kiara who spoke to press batted for the movie and said, it is indeed a realistic story that would work everywhere extending her support for the Tamil version.
