There was a time when Bollywood was literally controlled by the underworld and the mafia presence was so high during the 90s that many used to shiver with a phone call. But in the recent years, the mafia has diverted into different ways and they reduced their presence to behind the screen activity.
Still, it looks like they make enough noise to show they are around. According to latest reports from Mumbai, it is heard that the famous singer Sonu Nigam is currently having a brush with Chota Shakeel, the right arm man of the most wanted Don Dawood Ibrahim. It is heard that Shakeel has been threatening Sonu to cancel his contract with an event management company.
Instead, Shakeel is reportedly demanding that Sonu must sign his contract with another company which has the don’s patronage. Without hesitating a bit, Sonu has revealed the whole episode in front of the media. While some are really appreciating his guts to defy the mafia, others are hoping that this will set an example in Bollywood to keep the mafia presence at bay.
