Generally many says that our Indian films are copy from Hollywood films and especially coming to South the impact of Hollywood films is more on our directors. Critics always say that South Indian directors mostly follow Hollywood scripts, stunts, etc in their films. Reviewers even reassure that most of the critically acclaimed and awarded films in Indian are Hollywood copies. They even give an example that Hollywood films are remade in our Indian languages but our Indian films never remade in English.
But, now we can proudly say that our directors are also talented and never underestimate our Indian films and its values. Yes, making all us proud one of the South Indian film is going to remade in English (Hollywood) Soon.
Going in detail, Tamil film “Pizza” which was directed Kartik Subbaraju received critical acclaims from the film lovers and it acquired many awards too. Recently this film nominated for River to River Florence India Film Festival 2013 in Italy. After watching the film Hollywood noted producer Aamal was impressed with it. He dropped a line to the 'Pizza' crew immediately and grabbed the dubbing rights of the film for a whopping price. He is planning to remade “Pizza” in Hollywood soon. The film also released in Telugu as “Villa” and received a positive talk.
