A high profile sex racket was busted at LB Nagar in Hyderabad on Saturday. According to reports, Police working on a tip off, raided an apartment in LB nagar.In the raid, Police arrested two women, two men and two pimps which involves a junior artist Niharika .
Police also collected Rs 35,000 and cell phones. As per reports, some influential people were involved in the racket. According to reports, Cyberabad police nabbed an industrialist aged 60 along with them. However, the middleman and chief agent of the sex-racket fled from the spot before the raid. According to cops, The middleman has "arranged" Niharika to the industrialist who had already been involved in many other trafficking cases.He is suspected to have close connections with Tollywood as well.
Of late, the cases of flesh trade are increasing in the locales of LB Nagar, Madhapur and Kukatpally. Few poor girls, who are in dire need of money, seems to be stepping into this wrong route for easy money. All the people arrested will be produced in the court on Monday. The investigation is still going on and cops are suspecting that there are many big wigs of city behind this sex-racket.
A case was registered under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956, and the accused were handed over to the Jubilee Hills police for investigation.Sometime back, in a similar case the police had caught two women and two men in the same hotel.
