Sharapova who turned international sensation and Indian anti after commenting on who is Sachin tendulkar in her recent press meet is slowly gaining support from Indian fans. As Russia is not a well established country in watching Cricket there is no wonder on Sharapova knowing Sachin tendulkar.
Kerala Sachin tendulkar fans associations supports Sharapova saying "As somebody who religiously follows Sachin, I strongly feel he will not be interested in such merciless reaction from his fans. He would not want to be defended in such a manner."
"Cricket is not prominent in Russia, so it is obvious for her to not know about cricket and any of its players. However, he quickly adds, "Maria, being a sports personality should have been aware of other sports persons."
