It is known that Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing the role of Gona Gana Reddy in Guna Sekhar's Rudramma Devi film. The actor has already began shooting for his role in the movie after intense preparation. Bunny has allocated 25 days of his time to the movie. But sources in Rudramma Devi unit says Bunny is doing the role for absolutely free of cost.
Gona Gana Reddy is the dream role of many Tollywood biggies like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. But Guna gave the chance to Bunny before all of them. Bunny is indebted to Guna for it and has offered to do the movie for free. Bunny even pushed back his next film shooting (in the direction of Trivikram) to accomodate dates for Rudramma Devi.
Beautiful actress Catherine Tresa will be playing the role of Gona Ganna Reddy’s wife in this period film. The shooting for this movie is progressing in the outskirts of Hyderabad in a specially erected massive set. Both the characters of Gona Ganna Reddy and his wife lose their lives in this film.
The movie is said to be India's historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka will play the title role while Rana will play the role of Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole). Guna will himself produce the movie and had roped in some top class technicians on to the project. Maestro Ilayaraja is the music composer.
