The Prestigious 150th film of Chiranjeevi is in air for a long time. Once the elections are completed, the buzz just got increased and they say the movie will be announced on August 22nd, the Birthday of Chiranjeevi. It is also said that VV Vinayak is the top contender for directing this prestigious project. However Chiranjeevi just seem to be not ready for the film.
The actor has recently shot for a celebrity episode in Nagarjuna's Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. MAA TV is continuously airing the promo of this episode in the channel. Going by the visuals, Chiranjeevi still carries the oodles of extra weight on his face and body. We can assume that he is still not ready for the shooting of the 150th film.
On the other side, few sources close to the actor says the announcement will come on 22nd but the movie will start rolling only few months after that. VV Vinayak who is just relieved from Alludu Seenu duties will also have to prepare the bound script for the 150th project of Chiranjeevi. So, Chiranjeevi will have good time to tone down his body before entering the shoot.
Chiranjeevi's wife Surekha will be producing this project. This will be her production debut movie. Recently in an interview, Charan relieved that he will request the director of the film to give him a little cameo to take part in this monumental project.
