Meenakshi Dixit is one of those heroines who won more recognition for her dancing skills in item songs than the heroine roles. She was widely recognized for her dancing skills in films like ‘Baadshah’ and ‘Dookudu’, where she appeared in item songs. She also scored good points for her glamorous appearance in ‘Devaraya’. So, she got act with big stars in a very short span of time.
Among all the actors she worked with, Meenakshi speaks very high of Mahesh Babu. In an interview, she literally sang praises of the actor. "I really like him both as an actor and a human being. He displays utmost dignity in carrying himself despite being a superstar. I really respect him for his work and for many other reasons", she said.
And in the actresses, she has no inhibitions speaking high of Ileana. "I like her looks as well as attitude. She has also done some very good roles and she is doing well in Bollywood". Meenakshi Dixit currently is completely saying No to item numbers and is focusing on building her career as a heroine. "We get have good pay checks and great exposure with item roles. But at the end of the day, they do not define you as an actress. So, I thought to move on", she said.
Her recent film as heroine, Adavi Kachina Vennela was released on Friday. Here performance in the movie is impressive both glamour wise and acting wise in the movie. If she plans her career well, she could go a long way.
