It is increasingly becoming difficult to get heroines for Senior actors like Balayya, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna. Heroine are not at all agreeing to act with them since they lose opportunity to act with the younger generations once they pair up with Senior heroes. Trisha who is out of prime is even considering these calculations and reportedly refused to act in Balayya's next directed by Satyadeva earlier.
Upon repeated requests from the makers, she demanded whopping 1.25 Crore to act beside the actor. The makers of the film were first hesistant to shell out such huge sum for the heroine who is not even in her prime. But Balayya pressed up on having her in the team as she will definitely add value to the project as well as the heroine role in the movie.
Finally the makers efforts of bargain went in vain and they paid the entire 1.25 Crore to Trisha for the movie. This is the first time Trisha is acting alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna. She has the reputation of acting with all the stars during her prime. She recently even acted alongside Balayya's Abbayi, NTR in Dhammu movie directed by Boyapati Srinu. So after Abbayi its going to be Babai for Trisha.
Radhika Apte who paired up with Balayya in Legend is the second heroine of the film. There is an unconfirmed talk that Pranitha is also in the project as the third heroine. There are rumours that the movie may be titled as Godse and will be based on a real life character. Rudrapati Ramana Rao will be producing the film under his SLV Cinema banner. Mani Sharma who gave several chart buster audios to Balayya in the past will be composing the music for this film.
