Here is a real bad news for NTR. Their favourite film, Rabhasa which was supposed to release in few hours from now is entangled in financial problems. It is said that some of the financiers who are yet to be paid by producer Bellamkonda Suresh are trying to stall the movie release. If the rumours are to be believed, the disputed amount is as much as 13 Crores.
It is said that NTR's team personally got in to the discussions with the financiers to clear the release. QUBE, the digital partner of the film is yet to release the Keys of the digital prints pending the clearance letters from the producers. We are said that premieres in few parts of the World and midnight shows planned in some places of Andhra Pradesh stand delayed or cancelled.
If the issue is not sorted out this night, the benefit shows planned in the morning and the morning shows may be disturbed. However sources in NTR's office are underplaying the issue and are assuring that the movie will release at any cost with all the shows in tact. Rabhasa is very crucial for NTR. The actor's last film Ramayya Vasthavayya is a big flop and the actor had pinned high hopes on this movie to stage a comeback.
Rabhasa is the 23rd movie in NTR's career. This is Santosh Srinivas' second film. His debut movie, Kandireega is the biggest hit in Ram's career then and he wants to continue the success streak with Rabhasa too. Samantha and Praneetha are the heroines. Thaman is composing music for NTR once again after Brindavanam, Baadshah and Ramayya Vasthavayya.
Update: The issue is solved late night. Premieres in Overseas at some places are cancelled and early benefit shows in India are delayed. The rest of the release is as per plan.
