Yesteryear Actor Charan Raj frightened the devotees of Lord Ganesha on the auspicious Vinayaka Chaviti. The actor visited the famous Kanipakam temple in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh a short while ago and in the security check there, he was found carrying a gun. For a moment, the devotees who are in the temple for the darshan were frightened.
Charan Raj however clarified that he always carry his licensed gun for personal protection and he did the same in the temple with out the knowledge of the temple rules. Security took the possession of the gun and later returned after he came out of the temple completing the darshan. Devotees are seen appreciating the temple security's good job in even not letting celebrities with out checking.
Charan Raj was a famous actor down the South in late 80s and early 90s. He recently made a comeback in to Telugu films and acted in handful of films like Current, Asadhyudu, Em Pillo Em Pillado, Komaram Puli, Adhinayakudu and Paisa. Sadly, all the films in his second innings are big flops and his roles in the films did not help his career in the second innings in any way.
