These days a lot of money is being spent on film production and to get the right kind of impact onscreen few producers don’t compromise on heavy settings and huge structures. One such structure which has come up is ‘Gandharva Mahal’. This was seen in the film ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’.
It is heard that the set was made at a cost of Rs 3 crores and the film has come and gone but the set is still there. It is also the venue for the audio release function of the film ‘Gundello Godaari’ which is happening today. But what happens after that is the question being asked by many.
According to sources, the Gandharva Mahal will be intact for a long time and it would be given for shootings. The land on which it is built has been taken on a long lease and maybe any event related to the Manchu family might be happening there like it is happening today. The setting has got very good compliments for its grandeur.
