Gopichand's Loukyam is cruising at the box office. The film has completed its first weekend run at the box office and put up a very impressive show. The movie has collected 5.6 Crore in the first three days of its release. The film started with average and slightly better than average collections during the Morning and Matinee shows on Friday and as the Word of Mouth spread, the Evening and Night Shows witnesses packed houses every where and from then there is no stopping.
Interestingly, the collections of the film on Sunday were better than that of Friday's. It is expected to become a profitable venture to all those involved in trade, a rare feat for Gopichand these days. The movie has put up a good show in USA too recording opening weekend gross of $141,352 from 53 Screens.This is Gopichand's 2nd best weekend after Saahsam which collected $185,394 from 50 Screens.
Bhavya Creations, the makers of Loukyam are usually good in promoting their films and good effort from them will certainly boost the film during the Dussehra holidays. But the biggest challenge will be from Ram Charan's Govindhudu Andari Vaadele which is releasing even before the completion of Loukyam first week. Govindhudu Andari Vaadele will eat in to Loukyam theaters as well as collections.
