All the shootings of all the Telugu films have come under a grinding stop due to the ongoing strike of Film Federation Employees Strike. The talks of the associations with industry biggies are not showing any progress and going by the proceedings, the strike in all probability will go on till Diwali. However the makers of Baahubali are in no mood to stop their film shooting. It is said that the producer refused to pay the wages according to the new structure and at the same time continuing the movie shooting with other language federations. Since Baahubali is a multi-lingual film, the makers have the option of using other language federations to some extent. With this idea, Baahubali successfully shooting with out a break in Ramoji film city. Over 13000 employees will be participating in this strike and it will paralyze the entire industry pausing the film shootings and post production. The associations are demanding 32% rise from the existing pays. This will take a severe effect on film industry which is already reeling under the pressure of very low success rate. However the associations remind that their pays are untouched for several years and they can not make both ends meet with out a pay hike.   At present, junior artistes and drivers get Rs 500, make-up men/women and costumers get Rs 800, light men get Rs 525 and production assistants get Rs 500 per day. They have to toil hard for the entire day from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening. A few big films are in the final stages of shooting while a few others are to start shooting soon. The shooting for these films have come to a halt and it will further delay the releases and lead to big revenue losses for the industry.
