Nikhil and Colours Swathi starer Karthikeya which is releasing today Worldwide has encountered with financial problems. The film did not release in Ceeded for the morning shows as the finance clearance is not done. The movie which was completed several months ago was lying in cans due to similar problems but some how the makers managed to release it. But still the last minute hiccups can not be avoided.
The film is garnering positive talk from the premiere is US and the morning shows of the other regions. We hear that slowly the finances are being cleared as the positive talk aided. We are told that all the centers of Ceeded except Kurnool district may screen the film from the matinees. Efforts are on to solve the Kurnool issues as well.
Last night, the premieres planned in US have also met similar fate. According to the distributor, East and Mid-west premiers cancelled except west coast due to KDM issues. This is the second combination of Nikhil and Colours Swathi after their successful Swamy Ra Ra. The film subject deals with the concept of 'God Vs Science'. Both the lead actors will be seen as medicos in the movie.
Chandu Mondeti is making his directorial debut with this film. 'Nuvvila' fame Shekar Chandra is composing tunes. Venkat Srinivas Boggaram is producing the movie on his Magnus Cineprime Pvt Ltd banner. Tanikella Bharani, Nasser and Rao Ramesh are seen in important supporting roles in this project.
