The allegations on dubbing films damaging the prospects of local films are back again in Telugu Film Industry. The war on dubbing films is rampant some two years ago but slowly subdued as dubbing films lost steam here and most of them ended up as failures. But now the controversy is back with the makers of Shankar-Vikram's 'I' planning for Sankranthi release. Shankar is a sensational director and he commands huge following here. Shankar is joining hands with Vikram for 'I' who enjoys good following here. Their previous combination 'Aparachithudu' was a sensational blockbuster here. Now 'I' for sure will attract good craze here and releasing the film for Sankranthi will foil the party of films like NTR's Temper and Venkatesh - Pawan Kalyan's Gopala Gopala. The makers of 'I' have already confirmed their Tamil and Hindi release for Sankranthi and yet to take a call for the Telugu version. The makers of Temper and Gopala Gopala are planning to take up this issue with the Film Chamber and will push for a blanket ban on dubbing films release during the important festival times here. With Suresh Babu on their side, they may certainly do that.
