Puri Jagannadh is undoubtedly one of the most in-demand directors in Telugu film industry. Puri had seen lot of highs in the past but his recent past is not so glorious. Barring Temper, Businessman is the biggest hit of Puri in recent times. Puri's films had seen several records in all the territories of Telugu States.
But he never really managed to make a mark on Overseas box office. Businessman collected a little above $700K there which is the highest for Puri there. Despite Mahesh having huge popularity there, Businessman could not join the One Million Dollar Club in overseas. In fact the film was a big loss venture for Overseas buyers.
But NTR got the much needed break for Puri in Overseas. His most recent film, Temper joined the One Million Dollar Club by Sunday. It is also a profitable venture for all Buyers there. In short, Young Tiger gave the much needed gift for Puri with Temper overseas success. Temper is the second One Million Dollar film for NTR after Baadshah.
Temper managed to get good reviews online and this has helped the movie in Overseas. Usually February is considered as a bad season for Overseas films due to snow storms. But it is commendable that Temper did well there in these conditions.
