Nizam is the strongest fan base area of Mega family since Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan inherited it from his brother and further consolidated it with his youth oriented films. It is no exaggeration telling that Nizam area is a strong forte for the actor now. However the actor's interest in politics is killing that fan base.
Telangana is currently in the separate state mania and unarguably K Chandrasekhar Rao is enjoying demigod status there. However Pawan Kalyan waved red flag against KCR and called the state division unethical. He campaigned vigorously for TDP-BJP combine who do not enjoy popularity in Telangana in the last elections.
Pawan Kalyan's Telangana fans are very much disappointed with the actor's 'Andhra' attitude. They are further disturbed by the actor's recent Tweets demanding Special Status for Telangana. He called the state division as 'Hazphardous' to their disappointed and demanded nothing for Telangana from the Center.
Experts say that fans of the actor are slowly decreasing because of this 'Andhra' attitude. However they say this may not impact his movie collections in Nizam as Telugu people mostly separate politics and films.
