Mostly our creative directors are searching for new thought or kind of story to present. But currently our creative directors are not trying to set new trend but they are turning as followers of new drift set by others.

It is open secret that Sentiment will play a key role in any films story either it is going to mass entertainer, romantic entertainer or etc., director tries to involve some sentimental scenes in it. Earlier mother, sister & wife sentiment play vital role in film story line but now father’s sentiment has came out on silver screen. From past couple of years, exactly after “Dhookudu” success makers are almost trying to follow this trend of father’s sentiment in their film. Filmmakers started with Prince Mahesh Babu’s “Dhookudu” where Mahesh and Prakash Raj spell bound as son and father under Srinu Vytla’s direction. Later Prabhas and Satyaraj recreated the magic in “Mirchi” under Koratala Shiva’s direction. Sometime back Ram Charan and Rahman did it in “Govindudu Andari Vaadele” and Kalyan Ram’s Pataas also covered the same sentiment with Sai Kumar turning dad. Ravi Teja’s “Balupu” followed the same concept and more recently Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj did it in “S/O Satyamurthy”. And next In “Srimanthudu” Mahesh Babu and Jagapathi Babu will recreate the magic.

Buzz are spreading wide in industry that this father’s sentiment trend will follow for few more years in industry where we can expect more number of Son-Father relational stories in future. So let us wait to see more father-son sentimental films soon!!! But is it right of following the same kind of stories for decades our creative & imaginative directors need to think of it!!!
