Nandamuri Balakrishna's Lion which was supposed to release this Friday is postponed to May 14th. While the makers did not reveal the reason behind the postponement, we are said that they are not able to sale the Nizam rights of the film and it is the reason for the delay of the movie. According to sources, Dil Raju gave an offer of 3 Crore to the film's Nizam rights including Prints and Publicity.

Balayya and the makers feel it is an insult in fact

This is a very trivial amount considering the star status of Balayya and the makers feel it is an insult in fact. But sources in Dil Raju office justify their movie, "It is a highly risky project. We have quoted the best amount considering the possible return on investment and there is nothing about insulting the actor". If this is the case, the makers are likely to release the film on their own.

Lion Business is very dull

Lion Business is very dull as it is being directed by a new comer, Satyadeva. Over the years Nandamuri Balakrishna had lost his touch and only Boyapati Srinu is able to deliver with him. Also the theatrical trailer and music album of the film released recently did not impress the audience or trade. The makers of Lion will have a tough time marketing this film now. Lion is the 98th film in Balakrishna's career.

Balakrishna Played as a CBI officer

The actor will be seen as a CBI officer in one of the two roles he is playing in the movie. Trisha and Radhika Apte will be seen as female leads in the movie.  Rudrapati Ramana Rao is producing the film under his SLV Cinema banner. Mani Sharma who gave several chart buster audios to Balayya in the past is composing the music for this film.
