Mumbai Sessions Court had pronounced its veredict in the 13 year old hit and run case of Bollywood Superstar, Salman Khan. The court found the actor as convict in the case and also confirmed that he was drunk when drinking. Salman Khan has got a sentence of 5 years rigorous punishment while his lawyers pleaded  for maximum sentence of 2 years and a fine, keeping in mind Salman Khan's humanitarian work.

Sudden twist Salman Khan

Court asked Salman what he has to say, the actor denies charges, says he was not driving the car. Salman and his family members (in the court) broke down as as soon as the veredict was pronounced. If the quantum of sentence is more than 3 years, Salman Khan will be arrested but will have the option to appeal for bail at a later date. The case took a sudden twist after Salman Khan's driver came out of no where and admitted that it is him who is driving the car on that night and caused the accident. It is clear that the witness is fabricated and judge was clearly able to see it through.
