These days all the star films start by announcing an approximate release date. While very few films keep their word, most miss them. Similarly Mahesh Babu recently announced the release date of Srimanthudu but had to move to another date to accommodate Baahubali. Most stars in such situations feel it as an insult, but Mahesh Babu is not that kind.
Srimanthudu release date
Even after embarrassing himself with Srimanthudu, he chose to fix a movie release date for his Brahmotsavam. The movie will be releasing on January 8th 2016 as Sankranthi Special. To show how serious he is this time, he even fixed the audio release date. The event will take place on December 18th. The regular shooting of the movie will begin on July 10th and will go nonstop till completion.
Mahesh Babu will take a minor break midway for the promotions of Srimanthudu in August. Srikanth Addala who previously directed Mahesh Babu is Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is wielding megaphone for this project. Potluri Vara Prasad is producing the film on his PVP Cinemas Banner. Mahesh Babu is also co-producing the film. Mickey J.Meyer is the music composer. Top technicians like Rathnavelu, Thota Tharani, Sreekar Prasad were roped in to the project.
