KTR handed over a cheque of One Lakh

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao came to know about the issue through social media and reached out to Nagayya. KTR handed over a cheque of One Lakh and directed the officials to issue him oldage pension. KTR also clarified that he talked to MAA Association President Rajendra Prasad to help Nagayya as much as possible.

Nagayya is a native of Guntur district but his family settled in Hyderabad several years ago. His son works as a light man in Telugu film industry. Director Krish spotted Nagayya on road and gave him the role of Ramulu in Vedam. His acting in that movie won so many accolades. But except for few films, he could not establish his foothold in film industry.
