Well, it looks like S.S. Rajamouli‘s star studded film Baahubali has no plans of stopping to surprise the audiences. After claiming to be India’s biggest motion picture and becoming the most expensive film to be produced in Indian cinema, the filmmakers are now heading towards getting their name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records by unveiling the world’s largest film poster earlier in Kochi!

The record had been held by a poster of 32,000 sq ft. And they have been successful in breaking the record with a poster of 50,000 sq ft.
The Malayalam team of Baahubali held an event in Cochin, Kerala, where they unveiled the record breaking poster. The cast and crew of the film was present.

Baahubali’s official Twitter handle broke the news by sharing the photo of the poster taken from an above angle. The vastly spread poster is based in a stadium in Kochi. The caption of the tweet read, “Team #Baahubali is proud to share this image which shows the World Record poster that was unveiled in Kochi yesterday”. Well as of yet, no official announcements have been made as the poster will first be inspected by the Guinness officials. If everything goes well, Baahubali will make India proud by setting a world record even before its release!
breaking the record set by Shankar-Vikram’s film ‘I’
Earlier the film made headlines from breaking the record set by Shankar-Vikram’s film ‘I’. The film Baahubali which is set to release in four languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam will reportedly be screened across 4000 theatres worldwide. This will break the previous record set by Shankar-Vikram’s film I which released in around 3000 theatres worldwide. Makers of Baahubali are planning on a massive release where over 1500 theatres are being covered by the film’s Hindi version alone.
Star cast of the film boasts of a very
impressive line-up including actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who will be seen
playing the role of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva. Both the actors have undergone
immense changes to fit into the characters’ shoes as we can see from the trailer.
Baahubali will also see actors Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah as
Avantika, Sandeep as
Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Nassar as
Bijjala Deva, Ramya Krishnan as
Sivagami and Prabhakar as
Kalakeya amongst other cast of the film.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the
film has been produced by K. Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad
Devineni. Arka Media Works is the Production Company and distributers of Baahubali. National Award winners V. Srinivas Mohan and
Sabu Cyril have supervised the amazing visual effects and designed art of the
film respectively. First half of the film will release on July 10. Get ready to
