The finance woes of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Kick-2 seem to have completed now. The movie was lying in cans for few months now. The actor cum producer had to pay for about 16 Crores to various parties. The movie as a result was postponed for several times since then. However it is said that Kalyan Ram's brother, Junior NTR had come to his rescue now.
NTR talked to those parties and assured them there is no issue to their money. He also clarified that very soon he is going to do a film in NTR Arts banner. Writer Vakkantham Vamsi is likely to turn in to director with this film. As a result, the financiers have agreed to give their 'No Objection' certificates for the movie release.
Kick-2 is now all set for a grand release on August 21st. This is the first production venture of Kalyan Ram with another hero than himself. His inexperience had cost him dearly. It is interesting to note that it is Kalyan Ram who introduced Surrender Reddy with his blockbuster movie, Athanokkade. Vakkantham Vamsi who penned Kick is also the writer of this film.
