When Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced Gabbar Singh 2 with much fanfare fans and movie lovers celebrated it and thought within 4-5 months they can enjoy the power of Gabbar Singh on silver screen once again.
But they received shock as the film didn’t go to sets and change of director and story happened eating out precious time. Only couple of months back the film went to regular shooting and when fans felt that film is sailing smoothly, shock arrived when it was reported that heroine Anisha Ambrose was asked to leave.

A week back filmmakers announced the film title as Sardar and yesterday released the first look much to the delight of fans. Now Sardar shutting the mouths of critics is busy shooting crucial scenes in and around Hyderabad under the direction of Bobby of Power fame.

Khelkar is playing the villain role and speculation continues on the film's
heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film whose first look
will be released on Chiranjeevi's birthday on Aug 22nd.
