The magnum opus director SS Rajamouli after his biggest career hit speaks out about the allegations of copying scenes and posters of other movies. If we have to specify, it is in Magadheera that 100 solider fight at a time which is said to be copied from a Hollywood hit movie 300. Another one is the infant poster of Baahubali which is said to be copied from 'Simon Birch'.

Responding to these allegations of copying, Rajamouli said, "What I've done in all these years is not a copy of other's work. Maybe I've some few scenes and shots copied. While growing up I've watched many Hollywood films, and now that I'm making films, sometimes I get to insert scenes from those films rather unknowingly."

Well, this simply says that Rajamouli has admitted the truth and has done copying or rather "getting inspired" too much from the Hollywood movies. He also reveals that the scene where Baahubali places his foot on Katappa's head is copied from Genghis Khan that was released in 1965. He further said "Not many noticed that it's a copied shot, but several other original shots got attention from people."

Keeping aside all these, Baahubali has proved to be the biggest hit in the Indian Film Industry irrespective of language and reached the Rs 500 crores mark.
