It was way back in 2005, Kalyan Ram made his powerful debut and bagged a superhit with Athanokade. The director of the movie was a debutante and he was none other than the Stylish Surender Reddy. Being a debut movie, Surender planned the character of the hero to be stylish and filled with attitude.
So, Surender Reddy made Kalyan Ram start smoking which was never done earlier by Kalyan. It is said that Surender gave training to Kalyan Ram about how to smoke the cigar in style. After the movie, Kalyan Ram finally got addicted to cigarette and for this reason Surender Reddy feels so sorry and regrets for his mistake.
Athanokade has established Kalyan Ram as an actor and producer and gave Surender Reddy a good start for which Surender Reddy owes his success and his life to Kalyan Ram. He said " Many think that I gave life to Kalyan Ram but the truth is what I am today is all because of Kalyan Ram."
So, it means a shooting period can make to addict to bad as well as good habits! Be careful directors and actors as the things on screen can affect your life!
Now the two are working for Ravi Teja's Kick-2 where Surender is directing while Kalyan Ram is producing the movie!
