'ThaniOruvan' directed by Mohan Raja is the talk of the town right now. The movie completely opened to positive critics and everyone are showering their praises on the movie. The movie is already labelled as success and the collections are expected to be huge.
Now the overwhelming positive reviews has made the director happy. Regarding the success of the movie, Raja says, "I was down and under after the debacle of 'Velayudham'. I was called to direct Hindi version of 'Ramanaa'. I was writing the script for 6 months.
I am happy that the movie is doing well
But they asked me to add few more things which I never liked personally. So I walked out of it. That ate some 8 months and then while reading news paper I turned my rage against the society. That's how I shaped 'ThaniOruvan. I am happy that the movie is doing well.
I still wanted to show lots of things, but the time never allowed. I am planning to release the edited portions as a gruesome documentary. The movie wll be released as an uncut DVD."
