Senior star Suman had a
good career in Tollywood. Even now he is showing his presence doing powerful
roles in south. Suman sometime back even made Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar's
Gabbar Is Back which is a remake of mega star Chiranjeevi's hit film Tagore.
Suman in the 80s endeared himself to movie lovers as a martial arts macho hero
enjoying stardom akin to Chiranjeevi,Rajasekhar and Balakrishna. He even over took all of them and but at that time tragedy struck when he was arrested for
allegedly exploiting daughter of a Business man and shooting a blue film.
Three years in jail ruined his career and other stars overtook him. He later
made a strong comeback doing family oriented films. he cast a magic spell doing
Lord Venkateswara role in Nagarjuna's devotional flick Annamayya and even stole
the hearts starring in Rajinikanth's Sivaji.
When asked whether his career was ruined due to Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Suman
got serious asking " what are you talking. None of your business.
Chiranjeevi is a great devotee of Hauman and never played such cheap tricks. He
stayed way from my controversy 200%. Chiranjeevi got all the qualities to be Tollywood's
No 1 and God blessed him with them"
