News about Shruti Hassan also adopting a village in Tamil Nadu has been making rounds and responding to these Shruti said that Mahesh is not the reason behind this. Speaking about her father's influence on her and his own idea of adopting a village, Shruti gave the credit of this thought to her father Kamal.
Shruti said "I've plans to adopt villages since last four years. I'm much ahead of Srimanthudu in that context. I've not copied Mahesh Babu's idea. Perhaps it's my dad who impressed me for such humanitarian work."
