Director Madhur Bhandarkar earlier signed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to do lead role in the movie 'Heroine'. The movie became a huge sensation soon after it was announced. But the actress walked out of the movie as she got pregnant.

The Director replaced Aishwarya Bachchan with Kareena Kapoor and the movie did average run at the Box-office. But there was a cold war between Aishwarya Rai and the Director. Now the director was buzzed with the question regarding the dispute between Aishwarya Rai and him.
He said, "It is nice. All is good and normal. If there is an interesting script I would be okay to direct her." He said he will penn a script suiting to her needs. The director also made it clear that he doesn't have any regrets.
The director also said that he will be making women-centric projects and as of now he is waiting for the release of 'Calendar Girls' movie. The movie is releasing on 25th of September.
