After burning hands in trying few mass entertainers, Naga Chaitanya is now sticking to love genre which suits him better. He is currently shooting for his next, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo and now gave green signal to the remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie, Premam. The movie was immensely successful and attracted the attention of the entire nation. The Telugu remake will be handled by Karthikeya fame, Chandoo Mondeti
The movie is titled Majnu. The title seem to be derieved for Nagarjuna's Love tragedy film released in 1987. This remake film will have three heroines. Two heroines are already confirmed. Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameshwaran are the confirmed ones. This marks the Telugu debut of Amyra Dastur while Anupama is from Original Premam and she already have two Telugu offers in hand but are yet to go on floors.
The makers are in talks with Shruti Hassan to play the lead lady in the movie. The movie will go on floors once Naga Chaitanya completes the shooting of his untitled movie with Gautam Menon. The remake rights of the movie are with Senior Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. He may produce the film. More details are awaited.
