News is emerging that Puli team was not able to sort out all the issues before their movie release. The movie release was marred by the Income Tax raids on Vijay, Samantha, Nayanthara and the other Puli team including the Producers just a day before the release. The IT sleuths have freezed all their bank accounts drying the money flow and there by creating financial issues for the movie in the last minute.
The raids continued till early morning today and some of the raids are even on now. Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay sprung in to action at 2.30AM and is in talks with the distributors to ensure the movie release but it did not help. The Telugu distributors have confirmed that the movie is not releasing today. Theaters have disable bookings for today and started issuing refunds
Several Tamil biggies are coming in support of Vijay and Puli team in the time of this acute crisis. Kollywood sources say the movie may be now screened from Noon shows. Even if the movie release today. already the overseas premieres and the early morning benefit shows were washed out. The movie has got a big release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but the chance is missed now.
