Then came 'Srimanthudu' which again made an impact. The movie overall collected 165 Crores and also made everyone to come forward to adopt villages. The movie has also gone to Bollywood with Hrithik remaking the movie.

But post these the movies Tollywood is just facing downhill. The most anticipated 'Puli' was a disaster and the recently released 'Shivam' also gifted disappointment.
Similarly Nithin's 'Courier Boy Kalyan' was also labelled as flop. The trade has went low and 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' and Nayanthara's 'Mayuri' is still keeping the trade running and the rest have been failures. Let's hope 'Rudhramadevi' will change Tollywood's fortunes once again.
