After success of 'Kanna Laddu thinna Aasayaa', the duo of Sethu and Santhanam came together for the movie 'Vaaliba Raja'. The movie features Sethu in lead role and Vishaka Singh and Nushrat Bharucha are the female leads.
Jayaprakash, Sri Ranjini, VTV Ganesh, Devadarshini, Chitra Lakshmanan, Neelima Rani, Subbu Panchu, Motta Rajendran, Santhana Bharathi are part of the cast. Radhan composed music and the Audio was released on 25th of June.

S.Loganathan handles cinematography. The movie is produced by H.Murali under Vanks Vision banner. Now the team is planning to release the movie on October 21st 2015.
Earlier the movie was scheduled for lots of release dates and they got persistent delays. Now it is confirmed that the movie will release on 21st and will face competition from Vijay Sethupathi's 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan'.
