The Bajaj group has stated that on March 31st, the third 660 Megawatt power plant was synchronized at one of its Lalitpur power plant which is situated in Uttar Pradesh .presently the Shishir Bajaj group has presence in sugar, personal care products and power businesses among others in the country.
The Lalitpur Power Generation Company was part of Bajaj Group and has set up the plant at 3x660 Megawatt power plant at Lalitpur which is situated in Bundelkhand at Uttar Pradesh and presently the third unit was inaugurated on March 31st.
Meanwhile the first and second 660 Megawatt each were started in September 2015 and January 2016 respectively and they have already achieved full load capacity in both the plants. The third plant will be commissioned shortly and it will result in obtaining power generation up to 1980 Megawatt at the Lalitpur Power plant.
This power plant will become the biggest thermal power plant which will be dedicated to the Uttar Pradesh government. The Bajaj group has revenues of USD 3.25 billion and an asset value of USD 4.4 billion and has interest in areas like power, sugar, ethanol, real estate, personal care products and infrastructure.
