Both are Senior Ministers in AP Government. Both these are from Visakhapatnam. Ayyannapathrudu openly criticized Ganta Srinivasa Rao before Ganta trying to join in TDP before the elections. Knowing the differences between these two, Chief Minister CBN provided cabinet berths to both leaders. Differences haven’t minimized even after they became Ministers.
CBN planned to visit Visakhapatnam first time on July 30th and 31st after becoming Chief Minister of the state. Ganta Srinivasa Rao has made all arrangements for CBN to take rest in Anakapalli Guest house during late nights. This house is used by Ganta Srinivasa Rao when he was MLA in 2009. Ayyannapathrudu got angry and threatened to come to review meeting in Anakapalli Guest house if officials decided for the Chief Minister CBN.
Ganta said that the guest house was not utilized by him now. Curently, this is assigned to Anakapalli MP Avanthi Srinivas. Even then Ayyannapathrudu is not willing to enter into the Guest House and demand the officials to change into Private Guest House. Officials convinced him it’s not correct that Chief Minister could stay in Private Guest House leaving the Government Guest Houses. Al last, CBN visit has cancelled due to incessant rains in Vizag. Officials feel a great sigh of relief for cancelling his tour.
