A day after Telangana CM KCR had reportedly insisted on change in the metro rail alignment, sources say that Hyderabad Metro rail Limited (HMRL) is getting ready with an alternative design of the project.
The HMRL is reportedly finalizing the plan for which legal aspects is reportedly being worked out KCR reportedly said that metro rail alignment is being altered to protect Sultan Bazaar, Mozamjahi Market and the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial.
There are reports that the government has suggested that the metro route actually be diverted towards Kacheguda at Narayanguda rather than Assembly building to avoid the Telangana Martyrs' and also avoid Sultan Bazaar.
Now with this news numerous shops dotting Kacheguda Railway station to Maheswari-Parameshwari are gearing up to fight it out since Metro on that path would mean loss of business and demolition of shops which will be carried over till Chader Ghat through Nimboli Adda.
