Well, given the speculations till recently that the YSRCP boss Jaganmohan Reddy would merge his party with Congress, this news is different and is related to his party in Telangana. It could also affect the future of the party in this region. Inspite of a huge Reddy vote bank who are silent admirers of the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, some analysts say Jagan may have failed to consolidate his vote bank given his Pro-united AP stance in the event of bifurcation and also his inexperience has resulted in such a situation. YSRCP is fading away into oblivion with most of its leaders making a beeline to TRS party in the Telangana state and now it looks like his Telangana unit has fully merged into TRS. This is not only the case with sentiment dominated districts. Even in Andhra dominated Hyderabad city and Khammam district, there are reports that there is going to be a complete exodus. Therefore, YSR legacy looks to be only a matter of history from now in India’s youngest state.
