TRS was swept all 9 Assembly segments and Parliament Segment in Nizamabad district. Not only in General elections, TRS swept even local body elections in the district. Recently, Nizamabad Range DIG M. Suryanarayana took the decision to transfer 43 Sub Inspectors in the district. District has no history to move huge number of SI’s once at a time. That forced the every SI to move the place.
Some were happy with the decision and other’s not convinced with the decision. Even TRS leaders are also not aware of these transfers. Within 24 hours, Suryanarayana got a phone call from Hyderabad and asked to take back the decision of transfers immediately. Shocked SI’s back to their old police stations. There is lot of demand for SI posting in the district. Reportedly, Police Officials trying for these posts through TRS leaders.
But Suryanarayana was prepared the list of transfers on merit of the police officers and not to take any reference of the MLAs and TRS leaders in this regard. This causes angry to TRS leaders and make a complaint to Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy. As per buzz, TRS leaders also want postings to their candidates at their wish. Due to this, all transfers are reverted.
