Once the fisherman has helped people in reaching the shore, people forget him. This seems to be the case of TRS government, according to student leaders of Osmania University who are expressing their hurt and disgust.
It has to be remembered that for five years from 2009 to 2014, OU was the epicenter of agitation for separate Telangana given the high stakes involved. Several students committed suicide for statehood and when KCR withdrew his token fast against 14 F in first week of December 2009 it was the students here who galvanized the movement.
They forced KCR to go on fast which made him a hero for ever. Now with TS Home Minister questioning whether all graduates of OU have passed exams to deserve jobs, students in OU have reportedly erected a huge poster of him near Arts College.
On that, they have started hurling tomatoes and eggs, inviting even others to do so. They thundered how can a minister who just passed tenth can pass comments on MSc and PhD passed ones! Only Nayani can answer this question.
