Well, the future boss of TDP, Nara Lokesh seems to be treading the same path as that of his father Chandrababu Naidu who gained grip on ministers and cadre for quite some time before getting into final action in 1995.
Now, to make sure that his clan has a grip on TDP and it doesn’t pass on to Nandamuri family and also to make sure he knows what the Manthris are doing, Naidu has appointed Liaison officers for all ministers from NTR Bhavan.
The ministers are worried that their duty is to interfere with their functioning and keep an eagle’s eye on them which is being done under Lokesh’s direction. The idea is to ensure that works are done properly and also diligently for the welfare of the people.
It is heard that already Lokesh has established himself in NTR Bhavan as the person in charge for cadre fund and welfare. And now he would be monitoring all moves made by ministers! If things get streamlined as the father-son foresee then TDP will become a very strong party.
