The stage now seems to be more or less ready for the entry of former Andhra Pradesh CM Kiran Kumar Reddy into BJP. This is with reports that Kiran had hinted he is ready if he is given prominence and respect.
Sources say that in this regard, Kishan Reddy is doing the groundwork for Kiran Reddy and in a way he feels that this is his moment of glory to project himself as a hero before Seemandhra BJP too, which is growing well under Venkaiah’s patronage.
BJP is doing this to see that as per Amit Shah’s plan it can also put up a brave show in Andhra Pradesh by even contesting on its own in 2019. Although Kiran may not be a proxy catch, BJP wants to ensure Congress doesn’t get revived in AP.
And if it grows at the cost of Congress and has big plans to attract Rayalaseema Reddys mainly from Congress who are now without access to power and are unsure whether Congress can ever make a comeback!
