As per earlier schedule, AP Government has promised to supply 24x7 Power for all domestic purposes effective from October 02nd onwards. Now AP Government is decided to announce after getting confirmation on Surplus production in Power. Ministers said that it’s not right to implement 24x7 Power in selected Cities, Municipalities and Mandals. CBN responded we will announce this scheme in the state based on the surplus of the Power.
Babu is believed that Opposition parties will find fault and try to hit Government even there is minor technical errors while implementing 24x7 Scheme. CBN is participated in Power Saving Programme in Vijayawada that organized by Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). CBN wants to take forward “Power Saving” as moment among the people. He directed the officials to offer LED bulbs to consumers in Vijayawada and Guntur.
Government gave publicity in all print media on various benefits in using Light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs. CBN wrote open letter to the people of the state on importance of Power. LED bulbs give better lighting than regular bulbs and 30 times life than ordinary bulbs. As per the advertisement, 85% consumption of power saved with LED that reduces the electricity bill to the people.
