Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao is second loyalist to TDP after Yenamala in East Godavari. TDP cadre also gave respect Boddu in party activities. CBN gave lot of importance to Boddu in the district. He was elected twice as MLA from Peddapuram and gave chance to MLC after he lost the election in 2009. Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao had left the TDP for his son Venkata Ramana’s political future.
Boddu demand Rajahmundry MP Ticket to his son but CBN denying in giving the ticket. This forced Boddu to join in YSRCP. Yenamala had tried to stop Boddu till last minute. TDP cadre in Peddapuram and Anaparthy Segments were not digested Boddu’s joining in YSRCP. CBN also got angry on Boddu defection. TDP President CBN marathon entered in 2013 in Peddapuram after Boddu left the party.
Reportedly, Boddu Bhaskar Rama Rao is trying to enter into TDP. He met Senior Leader Yenamala several times for getting positive impression. Except Pilli Annatha Lakshmi (Kakinada Rural) no one is ready to welcome Boddu into TDP. Pilli Anantha Lakshmi husband worked as was Personal Assistant to Boddu. Both Peddapuram and Anaparthy MLAs expressed their disgust on entry of Boddu. As per buzz, CBN said that TDP has not required Boddu services in the district.
