All major political parties like TDP, Congress and Lok Satta have withdrawn from Allagadda bi-election. It’s nominal for Akhil Priya election in Allagadda as YSRCP nominee. There is nothing special on TDP’s decision to removal from the contest in Allagadda. As per the mutual understanding between TDP and YSRCP, parties have decided not to contest in both Nandigama and Allagadda assembly segments.
APCC President Raghuveera Reddy decision on withdrawn from the Allagadda contest is not helpful for the Congress party. Raghuveera said that Congress took the decision after considering unanimous opinion from the Congress leaders. Fielding Congress Nominee in Nandigama and decision to removal from Allagadda contest has raise many doubts. TDP requested Congress not to field against Dalit Leader in Nandigama.
But now Congress decision in Allagadda helps TDP politically to criticize both YSRCP and Congress. It seems that TDP made propaganda on Congress decision that Congress is against to Dalit community and gave importance to Reddy Community. TDP will also trying to castigate that both parties have internal understanding. It’s hard to the Congress party to explain on why party not to contest in Allagadda. Congress decision is politically not favored to YSRCP too.
