Yesterday, Telangana Chief Minister lashed at AP counterpart CBN and threatened to drag CBN to Apex court on Krishna water. KCR dared CBN to prove all irregularities with proofs and AP should pay penalty to TG. KCR said that CBN intentionally creates the problems to Telangana on power. As per KCR, that CBN was threatened Hinduja not to give current to Telangana.
Board Chairman of Krishna River SKG Pandit gave a strong reply to Telangana Irrigation minister. Board will take strict action against Telangana Government if TG uses to produce the electricity in Srisailam water. “We will consider the quantity of water in Telangana account’ mentioned Pandit in letter. KCR is not happy on Krishna Board attitude. Telangana Chief Minister KCR was also discussed on possibilities to go legally on Krishna water.
KCR is helpless in handling the power situation. As per the Telangana bill, existing Power Purchasing Agreements (PPA) shall continue. AP should share excess power to Telangana. KCR never ever tried to get approval for pending PPAs. AP Government seeks to nullify pending PPAs. Then AP should not share the power to TG. There are so many loopholes on TG side. Mere political attack is not enough to solve the Power issue in Telangana.
