Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that Telangana Government should drag AP to the court on usage of Srisailam water. AP officials welcome KCR’s decision and believed that SC would answer many unresolved questions after the division of the state. They discussed among themselves that Telangana Government would go to court as soon as possible. Everyone should obey the orders of the SC.
As per AP officials, Telangana Government used more power than Andhra Pradesh soon after the division of the state. AP used 90 million units of Thermal Power than Telangana where as Telangana used 153 million units in Water electricity. On a whole, Telangana used 63.3 million units of Power than AP.
KCR said that Telangana has its share in Krishnapatnam Project. Telangana Government has 475 crores of equity in Krishnapatnam Project but there are no agreements to share the power to Telangana. As per the GO issed on May 31st, APGENCO went to Andhra Pradesh. Apex court would solve many unresolved issues if Telangana Government really goes to the court.
