With TRS in Telangana and the TDP in Andhra Pradesh, the BJP unit is opening their doors wide open for potential defectors, sources now say that the stage is set for TDP’s Aakarsha. The process of wooing has been on since the bifurcation came into effect.
TDP leaders are of the opinion that even they need to focus on this given that many leaders are planning to join BJP in AP as no one in TDP is showing much interest these days to pull YSRCP and Former Congress leaders.
The party is facing more resistance from cadre to take strong leaders from other parties in coastal Andhra and is hence keeping quiet but now the party leaders feel it is the time to focus on Seema.
Jagan’s stronghold even now is Rayalaseema and TDP leaders feel that due to fair share of minorities, here big leaders are not eager to enter BJP and even TDP should be strengthened here by next elections with Congress on back foot and Jagan on the decline. So, TDP has formally decided to encourage defections in Seema.
